So, is the Azumanga Daioh anime worth checking out or should a person really get the manga? I ask because, while I kind of got out of the habit of watching lots and lots of anime about ten years ago, I used to really like it, and I've been thinking that I'd like to Netflix a series to have on hand when I'm taking breaks from schoolwork. Everyone has been recommending "Death Note" but, based on the on-line descriptions anyway, I am not sure if it's what I had in mind.

Death Note is pretty good, but it has a lousy ending. Azumanga Daioh is sweet, funny and sometimes actually serious. I have both animes and would heartily recommend Azumanga Daioh for some light entertainment.

Also, I thought the Japanes voice cast did a *much* better job of it.

Hahaha, we have noticed man.

I like otaku jokes, but my best friend has been going 'this use to be the only comic NOT filled with anime jokes and now it is becoming just the opposite' well I like the new direction since I never really listened to Indie music...
